It’s the Year of the Dog at Applaws Too

The 16th February is start of the Chinese New Year with celebrations continuing for the next 15 days.

The Dog is the eleventh sign in the 12-year cycle of animals that appear in the Chinese zodiac. In general, “Dog” characteristics are seen as independent, sincere, and loyal which sounds very much like our four-legged companions!

Here at Applaws, we’re starting our Year of the Dog celebrations with the launch of a new, complete dry dog food.  Created for all breed types, this new kibble has high quality animal protein as it’s No1 ingredient. That’s because we believe that dogs thrive when their diet has animal (rather than vegetable) protein as a staple in their feeding regime.

Available in four different recipes, this new formulation is made with natural ingredients and is both Wheat and Gluten Free. Created for easy transition, Applaws dry food provides a natural source of essential protein, vitamins and minerals to support overall health and wellbeing.

Our focus on dog also includes some new wet food launching this month. Applaws Dog Mousse offers visible pieces of tasty ham, lamb or vegetables in a soft chicken or beef mousse. Available in a single serve or in a multipack each 100g pot is made with only natural ingredients and no artificial colourings, flavourings or preservatives.

We hope you share our excitement at celebrating the Year of the Dog – look out for more exciting news and competitions launching from Applaws in the coming months.
